Who We Are

Samta NJ was founded by a group of high school students who wanted to do more than talk about change — we wanted to create it. What began as a small idea has grown into a student-led nonprofit dedicated to supporting local shelters and serving people within our own communities.

We are not backed by corporate teams or major sponsors. C.A.R.E. is built from the ground up by students who believe in taking action now, not later. Our work takes place in schools, neighborhoods, and shelters, and it is driven by real people who care deeply about the communities around them.

 

What We Do

Samta  NJ supports local shelters and communities through three main areas of action:

  1. Organizing community drives that collect essential items and rally local support
  2. Fundraising through original merchandise that turns creativity into purpose
  3. Leading student-run outreach by creating events and initiatives that directly serve others

We focus on being visible, hands-on, and intentional. Everything we do is rooted in real connection and youth leadership.

Our mission is to support shelters and those in need through youth-led action, community collaboration, and creative outreach. We aim to create lasting impact by starting with what we have: heart, hands, and the belief that care should always lead to action.

We are here to uplift, engage, and empower a new generation to lead with purpose.

 

Where Your Money Goes

We believe in being transparent about how funds are used.

• A portion of the profits from merchandise sales goes directly toward supporting local shelters, community drives, outreach events, and partnerships that serve individuals and families in need.

• All direct donations made through our Donate page are fully dedicated to outreach and community support. 100% of donations go directly toward helping people — no cuts, no exceptions.

We are committed to transparency as we grow and will always make it clear how your support is creating real impact in our community.
